...here she is...DANCER OF THE WEEK

Her dancing background....

She has been dancing since she was 3. She has danced at the Murray Ballet Center, she is currently dancing with Utah Dance Artist's in West Jordan. She was a member of the Angels dance team (Middle School) for two years. She was captain of the team last year. Her favorite kinds of dance are Jazz and Hip Hop.

Her favorite part about Drill Team is...

That she loves all the girls on the team. She loves the dances. She loves the change of conditioning. Also she loves Meg and Jenni.

Her least favorite part about Drill is...

Cleaning, she thinks it is kinda boring.

She has no favorite food, she loves it all!

Her favorite past time besides dancing is soccer, having fun with her friends and brothers, watching TV, and playing with her adorable doggie.

Some crazy info about her is that her favorite colors are lime green and hot pink. Her favorite animals are a monkey and tiger. She LOVES animals. The most important people to her are probably her brothers. She is a Disney and Batman fanatic. She even has the Batman comic books. Her dog Co-Co is a black tea-cup poodle with only one eye. Even though she is like 12 years old, she is still her baby. Her dog Blaze is 2 years old. He's a red/blue heeler mix and he's the most beautiful dog she has ever seen! Her entire family is Mexican besides her grandma who is Spanish.

I just want to say something about Maria. She is an amazing dancer and has a great personality. She tries her hardest every day at practice and always has a smile on her face. She is very dedicated to this team. She is an awesome girl and pushes through practice every day and always comes to practice, ready to learn and work hard. That is why the officers nominated her as the dancer of the week. Keep up the hard work Maria! =)
